Common questions

How does Both Awake work?

Pick two cities and the hours each person is usually awake. Both Awake compares the two days, shows when you are both awake, and ranks the windows by how comfortable they are for each person. Times near the start or end of someone's day count for less than times in the middle.

Why use waking hours instead of office hours?

Most time zone tools assume a 9 to 5 workday. Calls with family, friends, church groups and overseas teams often happen early in the morning or in the evening, so Both Awake lets each person set their own hours.

Does it handle daylight saving?

Yes. Every result uses each city's real clock rules for the day you pick, so the answer changes correctly around clock changes.

How do I send the plan to the other person?

Choose a time, then tap Share link. They open the same plan on their phone and can change their own waking hours. You can also add the call to Google Calendar or Outlook, or download a calendar file.
